Our company extracts Tigogenin and Hecogenin from the waste residues of producing sisal fibres from Agave sisalana and Agave Americana. Tigogenin and Hecogenin are important raw materials in the synthesis of steroid hormones. They are used as starting raw materials in the production of corticosteroids (Cortisone, Cortisol, Prednisolone, Prednisone, Dexamethasone, Betamethasone, triamcinolone and etc.). They have lowering-cholesterol, anti-tumour, and anti-inflammation medical functions.
